Why I became a Photographer!

I have been asked many times WHY I choose to be a photographer, and the truth is I believe that every person has the right to have that "Feel Good Feeling" about themselves, and feel amazing when they see themselves in photographs, and enjoy the full experience of being photographed, and be proud to showcase these portraits on their walls for everyone to enjoy.

You see, from a very young age, I used to be the one that hid away from the camera, always conscious of how I looked, my hair my facial expressions, my height and size etc, but in later years realised I didn't have the photos to look back on with my parents and my siblings, not even a photo of my confirmation with them, and now my parents have passed and all I have is memories inside my head.

I wouldn't wish this on anyone, and this is the reason I am so passionate about been a photographer.

My mission in this life is to help others feel good about themselves, no matter if your tall, small, thin, or curvy, we all deserve to look and feel good about ourselves and be proud of who we are.

Mother, Fathers, Son, Daughter, Grandmother & Grandfather it doesn’t matter age or gender, we are all beautiful and should be proud of who we have become.

Wherever life leads us, whatever adventures we take, it is so important to leave our children and grandchildren with some photographic memories, because when we are gone that's all there will be left.

When I was blessed with children of my own, I would make it a yearly tradition to have a photographer come to our home and take family portraits, just so they will have all the images to remember and in time pass on to their own children when they were older.

Now I have grandchildren and I am their personal photographer. I capture as much as I possibly can, and I now try to get into as many photos with them as I possibly can.

My experience has grown with me, and my goal in life was to be as good as I possibly could be, at what I do.

My sisters have been amazing throughout my career always encouraging me and believing in me, even when I doubted myself.

Over the years I have gained a lot of experience with Newborn, Families and wedding photography.

I have a professional, yet relaxed approach when it comes to photography, and I do this by prioritising my photographer / client relationship and I make friends with all my clients.

My passion is producing beautiful, inspiring, and timeless images that capture a distinct mood or a cherished moment and all the time boosting my client’s confidence.

All my work is completed to standards that exceed my client’s expectations.

I am continually inspired by my love of people.

My clients know me as a photographer who takes a relaxed approach and who

looks for a fresh way to capture a unique quality image.

I understand the indefinable connection that exists between couples and families.

I take time with our clients to spot the potential of a great shot.

Showing them how to make something or someone look more interesting

and flattering.

I live and breathe photography. It comes so natural to me, that it feels like I have a camera in my head all the time.

I am happy when I am taking photographs and my belief is that top quality photography requires personal control throughout the whole process.

Therefore, all image editing is done in-house to ensure the highest possible quality.
